Dzeko appears to be on board with his own family turning against him, with the Fenerbahce striker sharing pictures on social media of his son posing for a photo with Ronaldo and getting the 38-year-old forward’s autograph.

Dani Dzeko was sporting a Portugal shirt – with No.7 on it – and shorts when meeting Ronaldo, but did have blue socks on and that could be considered a nod towards the Bosnian national team and his family heritage.

Portugal are set to face Bosnia & Herzegovina on Monday with a place at next summer’s European Championship already secured. Ronaldo, with 125 international goals to his name, has fired them to that event in Germany, with Bosnia still hoping to claim an automatic qualification spot in Group J – while resting safe in the knowledge that they are already assured of at least a play-off berth.
