Loads of Wolves fans have been left fuming as they conceded a penalty in their pre-season game against Coventry City.
As tweeted by The Athletic journalist Tim Spiers, a penalty was conceded against the EFL Championship club after Ki-Jana Hoever was ‘sucked into trouble’ and ended up bundling one of their players over.
Martyn Waghorn eventually beat John Ruddy from the spot and made the score 2-1, meaning that the Midlands club had to nervously hold on to victory.
Of course, no supporter wants to see their side conceding goals, but Hoever gifted Coventry the opportunity to score from the penalty spot quite cheaply, and those kind of errors are what Bruno Lage will want to cut out ahead of the new 2021/22 Premier League season.
